Commands

This page documents the commands for FAR.

FAR has a single command that supports multiple parameters.
This means all commands start with the same prefix: /firealarm.

note

Depending on how the Ace Permissions are set up, not all the below options will be available to all players.

Draft Fire Alarms Path

/firealarm path

Required Ace Permission: Console Only

This command will output to the server console where on the server Draft Fire Alarms are being saved.

note

This command only works from the server console, and cannot be used from the client.


Fire Alarm Activations Log

/firealarm activations

Required Ace Permission: Console Only

This command will output to the server console a list of all players who have triggered Fire Alarms since the last server restart.

note

This command only works from the server console, and cannot be used from the client.


Random Alarm

/firealarm randomalarm

Required Ace Permission: RandomAlarms

This command has three options, depending on the arguments passed:

  1. No arguments (/firealarm randomalarm) - a random alarm is triggered somewhere on the map
  2. toggle (/firealarm randomalarm toggle) - dis/enables random alarm activations globally
  3. last (/firealarm randomalarm last) - returns when the last random alarm was activated

Get or Set Random Alarm AOP

/firealarm aop

Required Ace Permission: AOP

When no second argument is passed, the current AOP is returned (e.g. /firealarm aop).
With a second argument, the current AOP is updated (e.g /firealarm aop sandy).

tip

AOP can also be changed via the setAlarmAOP export.


Reset all Alarm Systems

/firealarm resetall

Required Ace Permission: ResetAlarm

This command will forcefully reset all Alarm Systems.

warning

This is not a graceful reset: any isolations, closed Sprinkler Valves, etc. will all be reset to their default values/positions.


Reset last Alarm Systems

/firealarm resetlasr

Required Ace Permission: ResetAlarm

This command will forcefully reset the most recently triggered Alarm System.

Collect or Store Detector Tester Spray Can

/firealarm tester

Required Ace Permission: Tester

This command will either collect or store the player's Detector Tester Spray Can.


Health Check

/firealarm health

Required Ace Permission: Console Only

This command prints information to the console indicating the state of the resource.
