Prop Textures

This page covers the editable textures in IF.

While the models of the props included with IF are protected with Escrow, the texture dictionaries (a.k.a. the YTD files) are not, and can be freely edited. See the information below for an explanation of each texture and what is it used for.

IFlares

flare_d

This texture is used for the entire IFlare model.

Used on:

  • prop_ic_flare_cone
  • prop_ic_flare_cone_dui
  • prop_ic_flare_cone_fire
  • prop_ic_flare_cone_leo
  • prop_ic_flare_cone_tow

IFlare Cones

clip_d

This texture is used for the clip that mounts the IFlare to all cones.

Used on:

  • prop_ic_flare_cone
  • prop_ic_flare_cone_dui
  • prop_ic_flare_cone_fire
  • prop_ic_flare_cone_leo
  • prop_ic_flare_cone_tow

cone_*_d

These textures are used for their respective models.
For example, cone_fire_d is used for prop_ic_flare_cone_fire.

cone_s

This texture is a specular map for all the cone models.

Used on:

  • prop_ic_flare_cone
  • prop_ic_flare_cone_dui
  • prop_ic_flare_cone_fire
  • prop_ic_flare_cone_leo
  • prop_ic_flare_cone_tow
